Our History

Poet Land Foundation grew from the embers of a pandemic-inspired nonprofit called The Marais Foundation, whose ambition was matched only by its sense of style and artistry. Our mission is to expand the vision, maintain the visual purpose, and build a more singular vision focused on finding, nurturing, and supporting artists.

We hope you will support us and the artists we love.

About Poet Land Press

We started Poet Land Press as a place for new, different, and alternative voices to be heard: voices that are missing in traditional publishing, voices that have been ignored or silenced, brilliant voices that have something to say.

As a queer-managed, non-profit press, we strive to build a community of boundary-pushing artists to make life more beautiful through words, performance, and creation.
